The wedding party will arrive at Penshurst Place by the private entrance, with its sweeping driveway and spectacular views of the house.

Walking through the grandest of main entrances, you and your guests will then enter the inner courtyard, where drinks can be served.

From the magnificent Baron’s Hall and the light sandstone walled Sunderland Room, to the intimacy of the Buttery, each room, all available to you on the day, will provide the perfect setting for a uniquely romantic ceremony and reception. Seating up to 200 for ceremony; up to 136 seated dining in the summer.

In the winter months we can also offer a beautifully presented marquee.

Couples can stroll through the historic walled garden after the ceremony. Divided into a series of garden ‘rooms’ by high yew hedges, there are stunning vistas back to the house - the ideal place to capture the most stunning photographs, that will preserve your cherished wedding day memories forever.
