Your Wedding
'My true love hath my heart and I have his
By just exchange, one for another given'
For centuries, Penshurst Place has been the stunning backdrop to acts of chivalry and romance with a long tradition of sumptuous hospitality.
The elegant 14th century manor house and beautiful Elizabethan gardens, situated in the heart of Kent, have played host to Royalty and inspired poets to write some acclaimed romantic verse.
You are now invited to take your place in history by holding your wedding or civil partnership at our award-winning venue.
Licensed for ceremonies, there are three delightful banqueting rooms, in the house, for your use on the day. Your reception will be handled by our appointed caterer, Leith's, who deliver exquisite wedding breakfasts.
With the option to hold your ceremony and reception in one place and with the support of our Banqueting & Events team, you can just simply enjoy your wedding day in the historic atmosphere of this ancestral home.
We want to thank you and the team for the smooth running of the best day of our lives. Everybody agreed it was the best wedding they have ever been to and that the venue was second to none.''
The poetry above was written by Sir Philip Sidney, heir to Penshurst Place in the 16th century; poet, courtier and a renaissance man.
