| Groups Groups are requested to book in advance for either a non-guided or guided tour by using the group booking form. Groups of 15 or more people qualify for the group rate. The above group rates include entry to the House and Gardens, The Toy Museum, The Garden Tea Room, Woodland Trail, Gift Shop and Plant Centre. Guidebooks can be purchased at several outlets. On arrival, couriers/coach drivers are asked to ensure that each member of their group has a ticket, since these must be presented by each visitor at the entrance. All coach drivers are entitled to free admission to the House and Gardens and receive a refreshment voucher on arrival, which is redeemable at the Garden Tea Room. |

Guided
Tours of the House A guide tour takes approximately 45 minutes. Visitors are divided into groups of about 25, with one Guide per group. The maximum group size we can accommodate in one day is 110 people. |

Tours of the Garden Guided tours of the Garden are available by arrangement only, and may take place during normal opening hours or before the Grounds are open to the public. Minimum group size is 20 people. Garden tours take approximately 75-90 minutes. Prices for garden tours include admission to the House. |

| Combined
Tours Combined tours of the House and Gardens may also be arranged. The House tour lasts 30 minutes and the Garden tour 45 minutes. The House tour must start before 11.00 a.m., but the Garden tour may take place at any time during normal opening hours. We usually suggest that groups have a break between the tours, perhaps visiting the Garden Tea Room for coffee or lunch. |

Payment One payment by cash, credit card or guaranteed cheque (sterling) on the day of the visit should be made. Please make cheques payable to "Penshurst Place". Voucher arrangements may be made with travel and coach companies. |

Facilities
for Teachers and Schools A typical educational visit might include the following: a guided tour of the House on arrival followed by a visit to the Toy Museum, lunch in the Education Room/Venture Playground, a walk around the Gardens, sketching or project work. A free general Information and Resource Pack or the 'Tudor Trail' is available for educational groups. Groups following the Tudor Trail should book the education room in advance if they wish to use the room for follow up work. Combined Tours for Adults In the morning, visit Penshurst Place, location for the Hollywood film ‘The Other Boleyn Girl’ and once owned by Henry VIII, for an informative private guided tour of the House or magnificent Tudor Gardens.
